 Copyright involves the protection and control of original work against others attempting to use it. This is a right that is granted to the creator once a copyright is filed. Fair use allows others to use the original work with permission by the creator and under certain circumstances. This allows for the work to spread in a controlled way by the original creator. As a teacher it is important to to stress to the students the importance of creating your own original work. This may be enforced with an craft activity that puts the students in individual privacy desks and they create something completely original. After they finish, they present it and each students encourages the other. This stresses to the student that original work is to be celebrated and is worth creating.


Academic dishonesty is an important subject because it addresses theft of other peoples original work. Making sure students know the importance of Academic dishonestly is important in creating productive members of society. Encouraging students to create by giving them more personalized assignments will help them rely more heavily on themselves than others. Cyberbullying is also another big issue with the advancement of technological communication. Making sure to monitor all school online platforms and openly speaking about the subject in school is important. Encouraging the parents to discuss cyberbullying is important as well. Whenever a case arises, make sure to pull that child aside and have a conversation with them on the importance of the matter.


Some of the new skills I learned was how to make perforated lines for the permission slip. Another was creating columns for the body of my newsletter. I have also never used Canva to create banners which proved to be very useful when creating my newsletter. My newsletter could've been more coordinated when it came to the coloring and the margins could've used some improvement. Some of these skills can help me create brochures and my own personal newsletters for a managerial position or an advertising position.

I have been using word ever since elementary school when I was first assigned a digital writing assignment. I have been able to draft hundreds of essays with it as well as create flyers, a few brochures, and lettering for poster boards. Word is by far the best word processor that I have used and prefer it over pages and Google Docs.  Using Twitter has not always been a useful experience in that most of the information gathering that I was doing was coming from Google news and various news outlets. Whenever I used Twitter, it seemed like a clunky way to gather inconsistent and rumored material. As of recent, I have been able to use Twitter in a way I actually feel benefits me. Following more Twitter pages that I find interesting has allowed me to get a glance of several social circles that I enjoy. Being able to get early news on new stock market movements and learning about new advances in companies around the world allows me to be more educated in the way I conduct my personal and financial growth.
