 Copyright involves the protection and control of original work against others attempting to use it. This is a right that is granted to the creator once a copyright is filed. Fair use allows others to use the original work with permission by the creator and under certain circumstances. This allows for the work to spread in a controlled way by the original creator. As a teacher it is important to to stress to the students the importance of creating your own original work. This may be enforced with an craft activity that puts the students in individual privacy desks and they create something completely original. After they finish, they present it and each students encourages the other. This stresses to the student that original work is to be celebrated and is worth creating. I have been using word ever since elementary school when I was first assigned a digital writing assignment. I have been able to draft hundreds of essays with it as well as create flyers, a few brochures, and lettering for poster boards. Word is by far the best word processor that I have used and prefer it over pages and Google Docs. The ISTE standards equip teachers for the effective implementation digital strategies that will enhance learning and teaching as well as altering the digital world. One of the standards that stands out to me most is the Facilitator role which empowers kids to take charge of their education.       Hello everyone, my name is Devin Starnes and I am currently attending FSU. I am a sophomore studying finance is FSU's school of business. I primarily spend my time working at Prime Meridian Bank as a teller and personal banker. On the off chance I have some free time, I enjoy going out with buddies and shooting a round of disc golf.      I have had quite a few experiences with technology in my academic career including introductory courses into educational technology. I also took web design 1-3 in high school and learned how to organize information on a website so that its efficient and pleasing to the eye. I have used various programs such as photoshop and premiere pro to create videos and edit pictures.
